The working area runs from the Exeter city districts out to the estuary at Topsham and Exmouth, down the coast as far as Teignmouth and Dawlish, west to Okehampton and the edge of Dartmoor, north to Tiverton and Crediton, and east through Ottery St Mary to Honiton and Sidmouth.

Each town below has a page of its own, written from what the kitchens are actually like there. That is not decoration. The cookers in a Victorian terrace in Heavitree, a farmhouse outside Crediton, a holiday flat in Exmouth and a two year old house in Cranbrook are four different jobs, and the thing that changes most is how many hours they take.
